Reflection isn’t something that water does. Maybe that’s why i keep coming back to places like this, they have a way of making me see more than what’s in front of me. Out here the noise finally quiets down. The conversations I’ve been replaying, the things i wish I’d said differently, the weight I’ve been carrying, the constant pressure to keep moving, it all seems to lose it’s grip for a while, i dont leave with every answer, but i almost always leave with a little more clarity, a little more gratitude, and a reminder that life is still happening beyond what has been consuming my mind.
